I fear my national debt counter will break after two Obama terms
The CBO is forecasting over $9,000,000,000,000 in additional debt in the next ten years. That will be nearly more deficit spending than every president before him combined. We can believe in that kind of change, since belief will be all our change wil be worth if this prediction comes true.

Now, I need to clarify your stand with regards President Obama's economic strategy... if you are leery or against it... may I respectfully ask what other options do we have --- another alternative form of plan or set of actions in these kinds of emergency situation?
As I told you before the mantra "TOO BIG TO LET IT/THEM FAIL" is slowly but steadily becoming a stale cliche.
Would it be more responsible and moral if we let it/them fail?
Remember this economic catastrophe did NOT happen overnight... it slowly emerged and developed into this mess from the Clinton and Bush administration -- under the watch of 2 different political parties serving 2 terms each... inherited by Obama.
To me any kind of economic strategy will not succeed in the looooong run given where we are at in terms of being anti-life and anti- family ... but who knows God may take pity on us and perhaps it may have a short-term success --- so, in other words... your logical prediction given our state of morality as a nation --- your "LATHER, RINSE, and REPEAT" formula -- using different fancy economic equation/s and stratagems and schemes may come true. I will pray so hard that we stop it completely and we have a long term success.
May God have mercy on these United States of America --- on us all...
What we need is not a change of political party or political affiliation --- what we need is a change of HEART... what America and the world need is to sincerely repent and return to God and make good by enacting laws that concretely reflects God's morality (CATHOLIC a UNIVERSAL MORALITY -remember the word Catholic means "UNIVERSAL".
Our economic mess is a result of very, very, very sick MORAL STATE OF AFFAIRS not just here in the US but globally.
Yes, Mr. Economist whether we like it or NOT we (all of us) are all moral human beings because of our freewill -- our God-given freewill --- freedom of choice... therefore we live in a moral world... if most (NOT all) but most of us as members of this human society chose to reject to live morally upright according to God's laws... then, OMG! WOE unto us! We suffer, we all suffer the morally wrong choices our ecclesiastical, civil, and business leaders have made and will continue to make so long as we continue with our sorry present state of moral affairs!
The weak and the innocent will suffer along side those-- our evil leaders in both the public and private sectors!
So, to those friends and classmates of mine who are baffled and laughing and snickering at my simple logic and my seemingly belligerent attitude when it comes to MORALITY... hey, people --- it's NOT my personal morality take it up with God Almighty Himself! It's His world.... He created it.... without my consent nor consulting me... it's God's Moral World which He created therefore it's His Own Morality NOT mine. If it's up to me... we can all be happy and merry --- it's so much easier to join the crowd --- and acquire a herd mentality -- far easier and far convenient to just give up and wallow in self-pity and apathy and bitterness and blame others for my actions or lack thereof.
How much does one missile cost? Or one of the several fighter planes John McCain crashed?
